Rescue Diver Class

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be:

  • 12 years or older
  • Have a PADI Advanced Open Water certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
  • Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within 24 months (Emergency First Response CPR and first aid course may be completed concurrently with the Rescue Course).

Rescue Diver Class

“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. Build upon what you’ve already learned!

Rescue class takes place in five sessions over two weeks.

Week 1

  • Thursday : 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. classroom
  • Sunday : 8:30 a.m. to noon pool

Week 2

  • Thursday : 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. classroom
  • Saturday : 8:30 – 12:30 Trophy Lakes
  • Sunday : 8:30 – 12:30 Trophy Lakes

What You Learn

  • Self rescue
  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
  • Emergency management and equipment
  • Rescuing panicked divers
  • Rescuing unresponsive divers


  • $375 per person

Does not include the cost of open water dives or rental equipment. Rescue dives take place over two days in a local area lake or quarry. Admission to the lake or quarry is $65 each day, for a total of $130.
