If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving lets you try scuba to see if you like it. We offer our Discover Scuba Diving experience every other Sunday morning at our local community pool. While not an actual scuba certification, the Discover Scuba Diving experience allows you to learn how to use scuba equipment in a controlled environment.
The cost of Discover Scuba is $85 per student. This includes the cost of gear rental, pool fees, and instruction. We have equipment available for children and adults. Our Discover Scuba experiences are always conducted by a certified PADI professional Instructor, Assistant Instructor, or Divemaster. No pre-training is required – just bring a bathing suit and towel. Group rates are available – $55 per person with six or more in a group. (Call the shop to book a group.)
You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. One thing you’ll learn is that you really can breathe underwater!
