To take Scuba Review, you must:
Has it been a while since you’ve been scuba diving? Do you feel like your scuba skills and knowledge are a bit rusty? The Scuba Review Tune-up is just the refresher you need. It reacquaints you with diving so that you’re back to feeling comfortable in the underwater world in less than a day.
During your Charleston scuba diving refresher course, you’re in the pool with one of our Divemasters and reviewing and practicing the fundamental skills you learned in your Open Water scuba class. You also have a chance to swim around and get used to being in scuba equipment again. Then, after the pool session, you return to the store for a quick review of your dive tables, and you have the option to take a brief quiz to refresh your knowledge of dive theory.
The Scuba Review course is particularly beneficial if you:
You use all the basic scuba gear. Rental gear is included in the price of the refresher course, but you are encouraged to bring your own mask, snorkel, and fins if you have them.
None. We have an optional knowledge review quiz the Divemaster can administer after your pool session, but it is not required. However, if you would like a more intensive academic review in advance of your pool session, you may enroll in PADI’s ReActivate course, which includes online knowledge development, quizzes, and a new certification card. If you bring your completed ReActivate paperwork to your Divemaster on the day of your pool session, he or she can file it for your new certification card. There is an additional fee for this program, payable to PADI. For more information about the ReActivate course, click here.
Full payment for the course is due at booking. Any cancellations or scheduling changes made less than one week before any class will result in forfeiture of the the full cost of the course. We will do our best to accommodate students who cancel for family and medical emergencies.
