Worth the trip, this experience is a ton of fun! There are many tugboats we can dive in conjunction with this wreck, including the the Helen, the Kimberly, and the T&A #9. The trip to these sites is about an hour and forty-five minutes both ways.

This is a dive worth the trip. The Y-73 is a 180-foot tanker submerged in 95 feet of water. It was used at a shepherding vessel for supplies traveling upriver during the Vietnam War. We’ve seen a lot of large marine creatures on this site, including rays, grouper and loggerhead turtles. We’ve also seen sandbar sharks, sand tiger sharks, and nurse sharks.

The Helen, the Kimberly, and the T&A #9

These are three tugboats that provide unspoiled wreck diving at 90 feet. Recently sunk, these wrecks are quickly being colonized by a variety of marine species.
