Introduction to Scuba Diving for Kids 8-11
The PADI Bubblemaker class is designed for kids who can't wait until they are old enough to put on dive gear and try scuba diving or who are just curious.
This course allows them to try basic diving skills in a completely safe and comfortable environment; the water is always shallow enough for them to stand up and breathe if they need to. Students may use their own snorkeling gear or use some of the gear we have available. We also have children's gear available for sale. We also have great staff, all of whom have considerable experience with children and diving .
When? The class is taught by appointment for small groups and individuals. Dates can be scheduled for larger groups such as birthday parties or camps.
Where? We use several of the local pools to teach our classes. The students meet at the dive store first to set up their gear. This also gives the parents and students time to become acquainted with the Instructor.
How much? The cost of the course is $45.00 per student (group rates are available) and it includes the cost of rental gear, instruction, and a Bubblemaker certificate at the end of the experience.

Introduction to Scuba Diving for Kids Ages 8-11
Want to find something interesting for your kid's to do this summer? The PADI SEAL Team Camp is a great summer time activity for kids ages 8-11!
The PADI Seal Team Camp is a week long session for children ages 8-11 during the summer to learn and explore the wonderful world of diving by completing informative and exciting Aquamissions!
All sessions are held at Charleston Scuba and are scheduled for three days out of a week during the summer form 8:30am until 12:30pm. The cost of each three day session is $180.00 per child and includes use of dive equipment, pool use fee, instructor's fee, snacks and drinks, Seal Team membership, and a pizza party on the last day of the session. Book/video pack ($79.00) is not included .

This camp is a lot of fun for the kids and helps many of them on the road to becoming certified divers! Seal Team helps children learn responsibility and teaches them about the underwater environment.

PADI JR. OPEN WATER DIVER $375.00-525.00
Children between the ages of 10-11 are now eligible to receive a PADI Jr. Open Water Diver certification after completing an Open Water Diver course and their certification dives. They learn everything the adults do, in the same class!
This Jr. Open Water Diver rating allows them to dive to a depth of 40 feet accompanied by their parent/guardian, and at the age of 12 the certification allows them to dive to 60 feet with an adult. At age 15 the certification converts over to the Open Water Diver rating, allowing them to dive to 60 feet without an adult. This is a great confidence builder, a healthy and fun activity, and your child can be certified for life at the age of 10 ! We have special rates and pricing for Scout troops; please call us for further information. This is also a great way for diving parents to get a refresher. Please let us know if you wish to complete a refresher with your child's class.

PADI SEAL TEAM KID'S CLUB $135.00
Introduction to Scuba Diving for Kids Ages 8-11
Something new for children ages 8-11. Get your kids to explore the wonderful world of diving by joining the PADI Seal Team Kid's Club and completing exciting Aquamissions!
The SEAL Team Kids Club meets the third Saturday of each month! Learn to night dive, search for artifacts, wreck dive, identify underwater sea life, underwater photography, and more while working toward your Master SEAL Member Certificate. The Kid's Club is $45.00 per meeting or $135.00 per quarter pre-paid. Meeting times are 8:30am-12:30pm each Saturday that the club meets.

PADI SNORKELER Introduction to Snorkeling Activities for Kids Ages 3-18
2-5 Kids $35.00, 6+ Kids $25.00
Snorkeling has become a popular activity at all warm water destinations. It allows you to get close to beautiful marine life without the use of scuba equipment. This is a fun experience for kids who are not old enough for scuba or are not ready for a full scuba certification. The PADI Snorkeler course is a terrific activity for birthday parties, boy and girl scout troops, and church groups. Cost includes pool, PADI certified Divemaster, Asst. instructor or Instructor and rental snorkeling gear.
