"I guess it doesn't matter who gets this because you all ROCK!.... I wanted to let you know that your dive family has grown by 8. They all learned a lot, felt very cared for and are looking forward to diving at the end of the month and beyond.
Thanks for everything..."

OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION DIVES $ 200.00 (local dives)
(Open Water certification dive prices are subject to change without notice due to the volatile nature of fuel costs.). PADI Standards require that 4 open water certification dives are conducted with an instructor to complete the certification process. During the summer season (May through October) we conduct these dives locally off our dive boat, the Trinity. We always conduct certification dives twice a month over the course of a full weekend (dives 1 & 2 are completed on Saturday; dives 3 & 4 are completed on Sunday.)
Dives 1 & 2 (Saturday) - The Frederick W. Day, a wooden schooner sunk in 1914. Sits in 54ft of water ($95.00)
Dives 3 & 4 (Sunday) - The Charleston 60 Wreck, a 200ft long sunken barge in 60ft of water. ($105.00)
The cost for Charleston Scuba students completing these four dives with us is $ 200.00 and includes the boat charter fee and rental equipment. Students coming from other dive
shops must pay a referral fee of $280.00 to complete all four dives,
which includes the boat charter fee, Instructor's fee, rental
equipment and pre-assessment fee. During the winter months when we aren't able to
certify locally we run trips to conduct these dives. Trips are
available to Rainbow River and Troy Springs, Florida, Key Largo,
Florida, as well as other locations in the Caribbean. To see a
complete list of trips click here for our travel page.
| "I am a 57 year old school teacher who has just completed my open water certification. Sally Robinson, Jason and all the folks employed by Charleston Scuba were understanding, supportive and professional in all their classes and travel accommodations. Because of them, I was thrilled with my experience and proud of my accomplishments. Without their humor, knowledge and expertise, I would not have been able to experience the underwater world of West Palm Beach, Fl. My thanks to them for opening a new world to me."
A letter sent to PADI from Linda Bush, May, 2000

SCUBA REFRESHERS $55.00- $95.00
___________________________________________________________________________________________
PADI standards dictate that if a diver has been
out of the water for a prolonged period of time, a refresher is highly
recommended. We also require that refresher sessions be conducted if a
diver wants to dive offshore with us and hasn't been diving in a year
or more. Students coming from other dive shops to complete their open
water certification dives with us MUST
complete a refresher for our Instructor to assess their skill level.
It's also a good idea to refresh if you're planning a vacation on which
you want to dive and have been out of the water for a while!
Refreshers are conducted in two ways; a
full refresher consisting of classroom and pool dives, and a pool
refresher, which is simply going over the 20-skills circuit in the pool.
Full refreshers cost $95.00 and include the use of our rental
equipment or $75.00 if the diver has their own equipment. Pool
refreshers are $75.00 and include the use of our rental equipment or
$55.00 if the diver has their own equipment.
Please call us (843) 763-3483 or email info@charlestonscuba.com to schedule your refresher date!
